Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This is a fascinating description of an unusual research process, and it could prove to be very helpful to future authors; however, the relationship to Sustainability is not clear
Thorough proofreading is needed.
The purpose of this paper is not clear. It appears to be preparation for further research.

Reviewer 2 Report
- In introduction following two sentences are unclear. “However, most of the existing and relevant research on High Speed Railways (HSR) addressed vehicles and people because information is more easily available. The previous studies on HSR regarding vehicles and goods are practically negligible.”
- The short description of syntax used for data extraction from Scopus would be highly beneficial. What is the meaning of “TITLE-ABS-KEY“ and similar terms? Is this part nessecary for introduction in the first place? In the introduction, a descriptive presentation of the content of the chapters may be considered unnecessary in current form. The most important thing is the subject of the research and its aim. This should be emphasized in the introduction. The introduction and the methodology of the study should indicate what assumptions were made for the case study and which aspects were chosen for comparative analyses. Also should be removed from conclusion as well.
- Chapter 3.1. can be reduced, some information (f.e. analysis of affiliation, country etc…) can be considered excessive.
- Conclusion should be more concrete and focus on bare result of the research - Passengers’ Preference for High-Speed Railways
