First of all, I would like to say that the study is generally good. The authors present an interesting topic and have done a lot of work on this topic, but due to the following comments, I suggest a major revision before publication.

 

1- In the introduction, add more global phenomena concerning technologies with energy access.

2- Add one or more graphs about the tested variables0

3- Please recheck your references and citations.

4-- Explain the limitation of the tested data

5 Add more discussion in the empirical section.

6- The contribution of this study must be updated.

 

7- The introduction needs some improvement. The citations are not exhaustive. Further, the researcher(s) can enrich the introduction by considering the following manuscripts. https://doi.org/10.3390/su14031208
