Strong points:

The article is interesting and of interest to the scientific community, presents a current topic, is well structured, and the reading is fluid.

The article addresses the development of digital transformation and the capacity that companies have to adapt to changes, not only technological but with more strategic and business impact, to improve the value creation process. The analysis considered the main factors contributing to the digital transformation (sensing, organiorganising and reestructuring) of companies with some history but that need to obtain a competitive advantage over others of an identical nature.

- Two very interesting aspects are addressed: customer orientation and technology orientation

In terms of weaknesses and suggestions for improvement, the following stand out:

- improve the appearance of tables, as they are too wide when there is empty space that can be occupied.

-added value if the main technologies that can contribute to digital transformation were identified, with a view to adding value and how they contribute to competitive advantage.

- in terms of the discussion of results, a paragraph should be added with the implications for the scientific community of the present study.

- review the bibliography in terms of content and format.

The study explores an interesting and actual topic, which is both readable and sufficiently scientific. It meets expectations in terms of both form and content. The ratio of theory to practice is appropriate. The methodology used is also good. What I would also suggest to the authors is to extend the range of literature with more relevant and pertinent papers to raise the quality of this paper. What I would also request is that a table be inserted at the end of the paper summarising both the hypotheses and the sub-hypotheses. As an optional suggestion, I would also suggest that the source and the parameters of the methodology and the study instrument be noted below the figures and tables.
