  1. This study had two phases……. ( Author can move this paragraph to Study context in Material methods)
  2. Please enlarge Introduction, by research gap this topic comparing and highlight the importance of this research in the end introduction
  3. in Analysis (2.6) Author explained Data was transferred to IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for statistical analysis including chi-square, p values, regressions, and correlations (R2 ), and T-tests of the data to determine the linear relationships of the dependent and independent variables. But in result, we cant see output of regressions, and correlations (R2) Does the author test the statistical test? If yes, please show In tables and figures
  4. Please add the conclusions , with some recommendations and design some limitations of author study and some directions for further research.

Author Response

Thank you for the opportunity to revise our manuscript. We have addressed and responded to the reviewer’s comments as outlined in our reply below. Reviewer comments:

  1. This study had two phases……. (Author can move this paragraph to Study context in Material methods)

Thank you for your suggestion. We have moved this final paragraph of the Introduction into the beginning of the Methods, as recommended.

  1. Please enlarge Introduction, by research gap this topic comparing and highlight the importance of this research in the end introduction

Thank you again, we have expanded the Introduction by adding an additional paragraph at the end, which highlights the research gap and position the aim of this study to address this.

  1. in Analysis (2.6) Author explained Data was transferred to IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for statistical analysis including chi-square, p values, regressions, and correlations (R2 ), and T-tests of the data to determine the linear relationships of the dependent and independent variables. But in result, we cant see output of regressions, and correlations (R2) Does the author test the statistical test? If yes, please show In tables and figures

Thank you for picking this up. Although these statistical tests were performed, we did not include this data in the manuscript. As such, we have revised this section and removed reference to regressions and correlations from the methods.

  1. Please add the conclusions, with some recommendations and design some limitations of author study and some directions for further research.

Thank you again for your feedback. We have added a final paragraph highlighting some limitations and providing explicit directions for future research.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a thesis that summarizes the pros and cons of seaweed in Samoa, and it is a thesis that made the general public aware of the goodness of seaweed. I hope that many people will use Samoan seaweed as a thesis to appear in this journal. This article is about the traditional use of seaweed in Samoa and its modern consumption patterns and nutritional benefits. Samoan seaweed is not well used in the general world. However, if you look at this paper, you can find out about the health and taste benefits of seaweed through a survey, but you can see the difficulties in using it. Therefore, it is argued that there should be a lot of research on the nutritional benefits of using seaweed for people, especially young people, in the future. This thesis is a systematic survey on Samoa seaweed, and it is considered to be a very good thesis that identifies the advantages and disadvantages and summarizes the necessary matters for better use in the future. I don't recommend any changes to the manuscript.

Author Response

Thank you for your very positive feedback and for recommending the manuscript be accepted in it’s current form.
