This paper reveals the effects of foliar application of urea on the productivity of pineapple crops. The study is well-established, written in a logical manner, the experiment is properly set up and described, the results are thoroughly discussed. I have only minor recommendations for possible improvement of the manuscript:

1. For a manuscript submitted to Sustainability, it would be good to address the sustainability-related aspects of the topic. Consider addressing them when talking about the relevance of the topic in the Introduction, as well as when discussing the findings in the Discussion.
2. The conclusion should be expanded to address the author's vision of the limitations of the study and potential areas of future research.
3. Think about reducing the title, it is too wordy. Making them more catchy would potentially attract more readers
4. The quality of English language and style should be improved

Dear authors, after having reviewed the manuscript (MS), I attach some minos changes that must be addressed before the publication of the manuscript.

1.- Please specify the meaning of NBPT, NLU, PFP and TSS in the abstract.

2.- In Section 2.1, please add a figure of the study area.

3.- Please, merge Sections 2.1 and 2.2

4.- In Section 2.5, please, describe Student's t-test in detail.
