The authors have submitted a paper on the synthesis and characterization of a 1,2,4-triazole-3-thione compound. The introduction does not flow well and needs to be re-written. I would suggest the following:

"Piperazine is a common structural motif found in agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals, in part due to its ability to positively modulate the pharmacokinetic properties of a drug substance. Incorporation of this heterocycle into biologically active compounds can be accomplished through a Mannich reaction [1]. The piperazine can be found in biologically active compounds for a variety of disease states, such as antihistamines, antiparasitic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antipsychotic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, antitumor, and antidiabetic drugs. Additionally, the piperazine ring is a component in potential treatments for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, and known antibiotic drugs Ciprofloxacin and Ofloxacin."    

In the second paragraph, the authors state “We previously described some new derivatives of 1,2,4-triazole with piperazine moiety.” Reference 34 does not contain a piperazine, this reference needs to be removed. Additionally, this motif has been prepared in the literature previously, the following reference needs to be added

In the Materials and Methods section, the authors should add the procedure for each step in the synthesis, not just the last step. In the procedure for the last step only the mmol’s of each reagent is given, the mg or mL of each reagent should also be given, e.g. (1mmol, # mg). Also the procedure is missing the amount of product formed, this needs to be given in addition to the yield.
