Background: Healthcare chatbots have emerged as a promising application of artificial intelligence in healthcare, offering potential benefits in accessibility, efficiency, and patient engagement. However, despite their growing adoption, limited research has examined the factors that determine their success from the user’s perspective. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the success of a health chatbot service by applying the updated DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model augmented with a trust construct, examining the effects of information quality, system quality, service quality, and trust on intention to use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Methods: An online survey design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire with 28 items measuring seven constructs on a seven-point Likert scale. Data were collected electronically from residents of Saudi Arabia between July and September 2024 using convenience sampling. Eligible participants were adults aged 18 years or older who had previously used the health chatbot service. A total of 321 valid responses were obtained. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation (PLS-SEM) was conducted using SmartPLS 3.3 software for measurement and structural model analysis. Results: The measurement model demonstrated acceptable reliability and validity, with composite reliability values exceeding 0.90 and average variance extracted values above 0.70 for all constructs. Structural model analysis supported eight of ten hypotheses. Trust exhibited the strongest effect on intention to use (β = 0.359, p < 0.001), followed by system quality (β = 0.234, p < 0.001) and information quality (β = 0.147, p < 0.01). Intention to use significantly predicted user satisfaction (β = 0.620, p < 0.001) and net benefits (β = 0.278, p < 0.001). User satisfaction demonstrated a strong positive effect on net benefits (β = 0.610, p < 0.001). The model explained 67.6% of the variance in intention to use, 72.7% in user satisfaction, and 71.4% in net benefits. Conclusions: Trust emerged as the most influential factor affecting intention to use the healthcare chatbot service, underscoring its critical role in user acceptance of health chatbot services. Information quality, system quality, and service quality exerted small to moderate effects on behavioral outcomes. These findings suggest that healthcare organizations deploying chatbot services should prioritize building user trust alongside ensuring high system and information quality to maximize user satisfaction and realized net benefits. Rapid technological development has led to an information explosion in the current Web environment. Recently, tourists have become reliant on the Internet as a tool to obtain information about the places they intend to visit. However, due to the overload of information, tourists face many challenges and difficulties in making the right choice. Despite the promise of Web 3.0’s revolutionary solutions to address all of Web 2.0’s shortcomings, there is still a significant gap between currently implemented systems and the useful innovation of future technologies in the tourism industry. This study proposes a theoretical model to examine the role of personal innovativeness in tourists’ intention to use Web 3.0 based on the DeLone and McLean model. Although many attempts were made in prior work to address this issue, most of those studies focused on the evolution of Web 3.0 from the technical side and did not investigate it from the theoretical perspective in different domains in general and tourism in particular. The method of this study was based on a survey questionnaire with 643 participants. SmartPLS version 3.3.3 was used to analyze the study data. The results of this study reveal that information quality, system quality, service quality, social influence, and personal innovativeness had significant effects on tourists’ intention to use Web 3.0, while awareness did not have a significant effect. This study provides further insights, expands our understanding of the study topic, and contributes to this growing research area, and the novel research framework can act as a fundamental theoretical model for future studies in different contexts. The study aims to measure the effectiveness of the project management information system (PMIS) and its impact on financial wellness in rural areas. The study uses DeLone and McLean’s updated information success model to measure the net impacts of the PMIS on the community. The dynamics between the PMIS and financial wellness have not yet been clarified, as the available literature on the concerned domain is very limited; thus, further research is required to report the effect of the PMIS on financial wellness. A total of 628 samples were analyzed from 666 collected through structured questionnaires and stratified sampling from 21 hill blocks from the hills of Uttarakhand. Exploratory-confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were both conducted using SPSS and AMOS. The study found that PMIS quality, information quality, and service quality are significantly important for the PMIS, and its impact on the net benefits derived from PMIS was studied. The results also reveal that the net benefits of the system impact the financial behavior and financial attitudes of SHGs and cooperative members, consequently significantly impacting financial wellness. This study proposes and tests the information system (IS) financial wellness (FW) model for community-based development programs in the lines of the logical framework approach and the stimulus-organism-response framework. The purpose of the study is to investigate the features affecting user satisfaction and net benefits of a mobile learning management system (LMS) for cyber university students working in the hospitality industry using the quality factors from the updated DeLone and McLean information system success model. Also, the study focuses on finding whether there is a difference in the perception of the cyber university’s mobile LMS depending on self-directed learning (SDL). A series of theory-based hypotheses were examined through structural equation modelling using empirical data collected from a sample of 328 students in cyber universities in Korea. The results indicate that information quality, system quality, and service quality have a positive effect on user satisfaction, and the subsequent user satisfaction has a positive effect on net benefits. The multi-group analysis revealed that all the paths were significant for high SDL groups, whereas for low SDL groups, a path between information quality and user satisfaction was not statistically supported. These results suggest that a differentiated strategy based on SDL level is needed to improve user satisfaction and the net benefit of the mobile LMS. The results are expected to provide implications for the stable operation of mobile LMSs for cyber universities. Full article
