Leadership, and athlete leadership in particular, has been reported to be an important factor impacting upon team performance. However, while there is significant evidence supporting the importance of athlete leadership for teams, there is very little research exploring the leadership experiences and needs of female sports teams. As a result, the aim of this study was to explore the leadership experiences of the captains of professional women’s rugby teams. Participants included eight professional women’s rugby captains, recruited through personal contact. Data were analyzed adopting an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) approach, resulting in the emergence of 10 superordinate themes including: factors influencing success, challenges, amateur level, leader characteristics, role models, aspects of the role, types of captains, leading by example, selection, and women’s game. Data suggests that empathy, empowerment, collaboration and shared/devolved leadership are crucial components of leadership for elite women’s rugby teams. Full article

(1) Background: The non-consensual dissemination of intimate images constitutes a severe form of online gender-based violence (OGBV) that inflicts profound harm on victims’ sexual privacy, psychological well-being, and social functioning. Taiwan enacted comprehensive legislative reforms in 2023—commonly referred to as the “Four Acts on Sexual Violence Prevention”—to strengthen criminal responses and expand victim protection mechanisms. However, the extent to which these reforms have translated into effective frontline practice remains insufficiently examined. (2) Methods: This qualitative study employed reflexive thematic analysis to investigate frontline professionals’ experiences with enforcing intimate image offence legislation and delivering victim support services. Semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 practitioners, including social workers, police officers, prosecutors, and lawyers. (3) Results: Three superordinate themes emerged across macro, meso, and micro structural levels. At the macro level, limited public awareness and persistent victim-blaming attitudes undermine prevention, help-seeking, and reporting. At the meso level, legislative fragmentation, challenges in preserving and analysing digital evidence, and inter-agency coordination gaps constrain enforcement capacity. At the micro level, procedural delays, risks of secondary victimization, and perceived inadequacies in compensation and support mechanisms weaken victims’ trust in institutional responses. (4) Conclusions: While Taiwan’s legislative reforms represent a significant institutional advancement, legal reform alone is insufficient to address digital sexual violence effectively. Comprehensive responses require integrated public education initiatives, enhanced inter-agency coordination, strengthened digital investigation capacity, and trauma-informed victim protection practices across all structural levels. In particular, the findings underscore an urgent public health need to establish rapid digital evidence preservation and takedown mechanisms to limit the proliferation of non-consensual sexual images and mitigate the associated mental health harms among victims. This article focuses on the notions of third-order fuzzy differential subordination and superordination associated with the generalized Mittag-Leffler operator. Methods emphasizing the key concept of admissible functions are implemented to investigate several third-order fuzzy differential subordination and superordination results. Sandwich-type outcomes are established based on the adopted methodology, linking the dual fuzzy theoretical frameworks. In addition, the applications of fuzzy differential subordination are discussed in the context of decision making problems. The proposed approach provides the mathematical mechanism that ensures the stability and preservation of the decision under changes in criteria and preference evaluations, highlighting the importance of the developed theory. Men who have used violence against intimate partners remain an under-researched population, despite their potential to advance understanding of motivations and relational dynamics underlying such behavior. This study employed semi-structured interviews and interpretative phenomenological analysis to examine the lived experiences of five adult men with histories of partner violence. A superordinate theme, Chaotic Interpersonal and Systemic Relationships, encompassed five experiential themes describing volatile partnerships shaped by mutual vulnerabilities. Participants commonly reported trauma histories and/or antisocial traits influencing partner selection, with abuse experienced as bidirectional. Disillusionment emerged when participants perceived that the mutual nature of violence was unacknowledged, limiting their engagement in meaningful change. Although behavior change programs were often understood at a conceptual level, participants struggled to translate insight into sustained behavioral transformation. Consistent with post-traumatic growth theory, participants described developing greater personal responsibility and more constructive views of relationships over time. Greater systemic recognition of bidirectional violence, identified in the literature as a prevalent form of intimate partner violence, may strengthen the therapeutic alliance and support more nuanced etiological inquiry. Shifting systemic responses from deficit-based, gendered models toward strength-based approaches may better harness men’s capacity for more permanent positive psychological and behavioral change. This study investigates third-order differential subordination and its influence on classes of analytic functions associated with the Lommel function of the first kind. By employing a newly defined operator Lwjf(z), we identify and characterize the admissible function classes that satisfy the corresponding third-order differential subordinations. These admissibility conditions enable the derivation of several key results, including a sandwich-type theorem obtained as a direct consequence of the established framework. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of analytic functions governed by higher-order differential constraints and highlight the significant role played by the Lommel function in shaping these geometric properties. q-calculus and fractional calculus combined with geometric function theory lead to remarkable results. The fractional integral introduced by Riemann–Liouville applied to the q-multiplier transformation is used in this research to study the two dual theories of fuzzy differential subordination and fuzzy differential superordination and to develop specific fuzzy results. In the theorems examining fuzzy differential subordinations and fuzzy differential superordinations, fuzzy best dominants and fuzzy best subordinants are also provided. In addition, the demonstrated outcomes reveal corollaries by taking specific functions with established geometric features into consideration as the fuzzy best subordinant and fuzzy best dominant. The work concludes with a fuzzy differential sandwich theorem and related corollaries that combine the findings of this research on fuzzy differential subordinations and superordinations. Background/Objectives: Research examining the emotional and psychological challenges experienced by couples undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) remains limited. Existing evidence suggests that women undergoing IVF often report elevated levels of depression, anxiety, and emotional distress, whereas men may experience feelings of anger, inadequacy, and self-doubt, especially following unsuccessful treatment cycles. Successful IVF outcomes are commonly associated with intense joy, relief, and fulfilment as couples realise their aspiration to become parents. In light of the limited qualitative research conducted in Greece to date, in the present study, we aimed to explore the lived experiences of couples undergoing IVF treatment, with particular attention to emotional, relational, and systemic dimensions. Methods: A qualitative research design was employed. Semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with six heterosexual couples (aged 18–49 years) residing in Athens and Karditsa, Greece, all of whom had undergone IVF treatment. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Results: Our analysis revealed five interrelated superordinate themes with associated subordinate themes: (1) making sense of infertility and IVF, (2) negotiating relationships under the strain of IVF, (3) IVF as an emotionally demanding journey, (4) navigating institutional and systemic barriers, and (5) projecting the future through IVF experience. Lived experiences of infertile couples undergoing IVF treatment highlighted a range of emotions, social pressure, and attitudes towards IVF and related policies. Conclusions: In Greece, where demographic decline has been widely discussed in policy debates, IVF has gained societal and policy attention. For many participants, IVF represented a hopeful pathway towards achieving parenthood despite the emotional and practical challenges involved. Full article

In this paper, we introduce a new logarithmic integral operator that unifies differentiation and fractional integration within the complex domain. The present work addresses this gap by applying the proposed operator to analytic functions represented by alternating power series. The method demonstrates that the coefficients can be reorganized in a controlled manner without affecting convergence or analytic behavior. Using this framework, we derive third-order differential subordination and superordination results, which naturally lead to corresponding sandwich-type results. The findings confirm that the introduced operator offers an effective analytical tool for studying distortion, growth, and mapping properties of analytic functions, with promising potential for future applications in fluid mechanics. The concept of fuzzy differential subordination was introduced in 2011 as a natural generalization of classical differential subordination, reflecting the contemporary trend of incorporating fuzzy set theory into well-established mathematical frameworks. This work aims to explore multiple fuzzy differential subordinations (FDS) and fuzzy differential superordinations (FDSs) associated with the linear multiplier fractional q-differintegral operator. Utilizing the linear multiplier fractional q-differintegral operator, we introduce a novel fuzzy subclass of analytic functions, denoted by SDFσ,m(q,λ,γ). Using the concept of FDS and FDSs, we identify important characteristics and analytical aspects of the class SDFσ,m(q,λ,γ). Furthermore, we derive a collection of FDS and FDSs results specifically related to the linear multiplier fractional q-differintegral operator. Full article

While over a hundred articles discuss second-order differential inequalities and subordinations in the complex plane, very few address the relatively unexplored classes of third-order fuzzy differential subordination and superordination. This paper builds upon the recently proposed concepts of third-order fuzzy differential subordination and superordination, which are developed using a linear operator and a meromorphic function. By applying techniques based on the fundamental notion of admissible functions, we begin by defining the appropriate class of such functions necessary for deriving new results in third-order fuzzy differential subordination. The study reveals the establishment of sandwich-type theorems, linking these new findings with established methods in third-order fuzzy differentiation and superordination theory. Full article

Positive Body Image (PBI) has been conceptualized as a multidimensional construct encompassing acceptance, functionality appreciation, and self-care, yet little is known about the lived processes through which women move from self-criticism to reconciliation with their bodies. This study aimed to explore how women experience, construct, and sustain PBI in their everyday lives, and to identify the psychological and contextual factors that facilitate its development. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten women in Greece (ages 18–62) of diverse body sizes, educational backgrounds, and life circumstances, which were then analyzed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. Participants were recruited through convenience sampling and interviewed online between July and August 2025. Findings revealed three superordinate themes—(1) Catalysts of Realism and Self-Care, (2) From Rejection to Reconciliation, and (3) My Own Positive Body Image—comprising nine subthemes that together illustrated a developmental process of body acceptance and meaning-making. Findings revealed a trajectory from self-rejection to reconciliation, marked by shifts from external appearance to holistic embodiment, and from self-criticism to compassion, functionality appreciation, and intrinsic motivation. Participants described mindful self-care practices—particularly exercise and healthy eating—as acts of self-nurturing, supported by psychotherapy, positive social relationships, and turning points such as illness, aging, or personal maturation. These catalysts facilitated a reorientation of body image away from societal ideals and toward health, resilience, and existential meaning. The study contributes to understanding how women develop sustainable forms of PBI, highlighting the importance of self-compassion, supportive contexts, and body functionality. These insights have implications for interventions aiming to promote wellbeing, resilience, and healthier relationships with the body across the lifespan. Full article

Background: Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of mortality in England, with South Asians estimated to have a higher risk of CVD development compared to the general population. Harmful drinking is a key risk factor for cardiovascular disease, but little is known about drinking behaviours among South Asians, especially those aged 18–25. Objectives: The objectives of this study were (i) to investigate the knowledge of the cardiovascular effects of harmful drinking among young South Asians aged 18–25, and (ii) to explore the perceptions of young South Asians towards the role of the pharmacist in supporting individuals with alcohol-related harm. Methods: Qualitative, in depth, face-to-face, semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten young South Asians, around 30 min in length. The interviews were audio recorded, transcribed verbatim and then thematically analysed. Results: Four superordinate themes emerged: (1) Culture Clash; (2) The Great Escape; (3) Cardiovascular Confusion; and (4) The Ambiguous Pharmacist. These themes highlighted a dichotomy between the drinking behaviours among different South Asian communities, a lack of knowledge regarding the cardiovascular consequences of harmful drinking and mixed views regarding pharmacists’ role in supporting dependence. Participants acknowledged the prevalence of poor cardiovascular health among British South Asians, citing various types of dysfunction and possible causes; however, the effect of drinking specifically was not understood. Most participants would refer a young person struggling with dependence to a pharmacist and would be receptive to discussing drinking with one. However, few commented on any role outside of signposting to other services or healthcare providers. Conclusions: Greater cardiovascular health promotion is needed among South Asians, with an emphasis on the link between excess alcohol consumption and cardiovascular dysfunction. Furthermore, pharmacists must do more to promote greater awareness of the different ways in which alcohol dependence can be supported within the community to encourage young people seeking harm reduction to utilise those services as needed. Compositional Zero-Shot Learning (CZSL) seeks to enable machines to recognize objects and attributes (i.e., primitives),learn their associations, and generalize to novel compositions, enabling systems to exhibit a human-like ability to infer and generalize. The existing approaches, multi-label and multi-class classification, face inherent trade-offs: the former suffers from biases against unrelated compositions, while the latter struggles with exponentially growing search spaces as the number of objects and attributes increases. To overcome these limitations and address the exponential complexity in CZSL, we introduce Concept-oriented Feature ADjustment (CoFAD), a novel method that extracts superordinate conceptual features based on primitive relationships and expands label feature boundaries. By incorporating spectral clustering and membership function in fuzzy logic, CoFAD achieves state-of-the-art performance while using 2×–4× less GPU memory and reducing training time by up to 50× on large-scale dataset. This paper explores a class of analytic functions defined in the open unit disk by means of a symmetric q-differential operator. In the first part, we derive sufficient conditions for functions to belong to a subclass associated with this operator, using inequalities involving their coefficients. Additionally, we establish several inclusion relations between these subclasses, obtained by varying the defining parameters. In the second part, we focus on differential subordination and superordination for functions transformed by the operator. We provide sufficient conditions under which such functions are subordinate or superordinate to univalent functions, and we determine the best dominant and best subordinant in specific cases. These results are complemented by several corollaries that highlight particular instances of the main theorems. Furthermore, we present a sandwich-type result that brings together the subordination and superordination frameworks in a unified analytic statement. Full article

This work is based on the recently introduced concepts of third-order fuzzy differential subordination and its dual, third-order fuzzy differential superordination. In order to obtain the new results that add to the development of the newly initiated lines of research, a new operator is defined here using the concept of convolution and the normalized Lommel function. The methods focusing on the basic concept of admissible function are employed. Hence, the investigation of new third-order fuzzy differential subordination results starts with the definition of the suitable class of admissible functions. The first theorems discuss third-order fuzzy differential subordinations involving the newly introduced operator. The following result shows the conditions needed such that the fuzzy best dominant can be found for a third-order fuzzy differential subordination. Next, dual results are obtained by employing the methods of third-order fuzzy differential superordination based on the same concept of an admissible function. A suitable class of admissible functions is introduced and new third-order fuzzy differential superordinations are obtained, showing how the best subordinant can be obtained under certain restrictions. As a conclusion of this study, sandwhich-type results are derived, linking the outcome of the two dual fuzzy theories. Full article
