According to available estimates with WHO, cancers are the sixth leading cause of global human morbidity and mortality. Prostate Cancer is the fifth-ranked most lethal among various cancers, and hence it warrants serious, dedicated research for improving its early detection. The employed methodologies such as prostate-specific antigen test, Gleason Score, and T2 Staging lack precision and accuracy in conditions where information is scarring, vague and uncertain. Consequently, in the present study, the innovative use of neutrosophic cubic fuzzy sets (NCFS) is employed to improve prostate cancer detection in situations where basic information is vague, imprecise, and uncertain. Specific and critical similarity measures are defined for using NCFS methodology for the evaluation of prostate cancer. This methodology is found reasonably better compared to the existing benchmark methods for the detection and grading of prostate cancer. Full article

In this short paper, a critical analysis of the Neutrosophic, Pythagorean and some other novel fuzzy sets theories foundations is provided, taking into account that they actively used for the solution of the decision-making problems. The shortcomings of these theories are exposed. It is stated that the independence hypothesis, which is a cornerstone of the Neutrosophic sets theory, is not in line with common sense and therefore leads to the paradoxical results in the asymptotic limits of this theory. It is shown that the Pythagorean sets theory possesses questionable foundations, the sense of which cannot be explained reasonably. Moreover, this theory does not completely solve the declared problem. Similarly, important methodological problems of other analyzed theories are revealed. To solve the interior problems of the Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets and to improve upon them, this being the reason most of the criticized novel sets theories were developed, an alternative approach based on extension of the intuitionistic fuzzy sets in the framework of the Dempster–Shafer theory is proposed. No propositions concerned with the improvement of the Cubic sets theory and Single-Valued Neutrosophic Offset theory were made, as their applicability was shown to be very dubious. In order to stimulate discussion, many statements are deliberately formulated in a hardline form. Full article

In the modern world, the computation of vague data is a challenging job. Different theories are presented to deal with such situations. Amongst them, fuzzy set theory and its extensions produced remarkable results. Samrandache extended the theory to a new horizon with the neutrosophic set (NS), which was further extended to interval neutrosophic set (INS). Neutrosophic cubic set (NCS) is the generalized version of NS and INS. This characteristic makes it an exceptional choice to deal with vague and imprecise data. Aggregation operators are key features of decision-making theory. In recent times several aggregation operators were defined in NCS. The intent of this paper is to generalize these aggregation operators by presenting neutrosophic cubic generalized unified aggregation (NCGUA) and neutrosophic cubic quasi-generalized unified aggregation (NCQGUA) operators. The accuracy and precision are a vital tool to minimize the potential threat in decision making. Generally, in decision making methods, alternatives and criteria are considered to evaluate the better outcome. However, sometimes the decision making environment has more components to express the problem completely. These components are named as the state of nature corresponding to each criterion. This complex frame of work is dealt with by presenting the multi-expert decision-making method (MEDMM). Full article

The neutrosophic cubic sets are an extension of the cubic sets to the neutrosophic sets. It contains three variables, which respectively represent the membership degree, non-membership degree and uncertainty of the element to the set. The score function is an important indicator in the multi-attribute decision-making problem. In this paper, we consider the possibility that an element belongs to a set and put forward the concept of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets. On this basis, we introduce some related concepts and give the binary operation of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets and use specific examples to supplement the corresponding definition. Meanwhile, a decision-making method based on the score function of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets is proposed and a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Viable collection is one of the imperative instruments of decision-making hypothesis. Collection operators are not simply the operators that normalize the value; they represent progressively broad values that can underline the entire information. Geometric weighted operators weight the values only, and the ordered weighted geometric operators weight the ordering position only. Both of these operators tend to the value that relates to the biggest weight segment. Hybrid collection operators beat these impediments of weighted total and request total operators. Hybrid collection operators weight the incentive as well as the requesting position. Neutrosophic cubic sets (NCs) are a classification of interim neutrosophic set and neutrosophic set. This distinguishing of neutrosophic cubic set empowers the decision-maker to manage ambiguous and conflicting data even more productively. In this paper, we characterized neutrosophic cubic hybrid geometric accumulation operator (NCHG) and neutrosophic cubic Einstein hybrid geometric collection operator (NCEHG). At that point, we outfitted these operators upon an everyday life issue which empoweredus to organize the key objective to develop the industry. Full article

Games are considered to be the most attractive and healthy event between nations and peoples. Soft expert sets are helpful for capturing uncertain and vague information. By contrast, neutrosophic set is a tri-component logic set, thus it can deal with uncertain, indeterminate, and incompatible information where the indeterminacy is quantified explicitly and truth membership, indeterminacy membership, and falsity membership independent of each other. Subsequently, we develop a combined approach and extend this concept further to introduce the notion of the neutrosophic cubic soft expert sets (NCSESs) by using the concept of neutrosophic cubic soft sets, which is a powerful tool for handling uncertain information in many problems and especially in games. Then we define and analyze the properties of internal neutrosophic cubic soft expert sets (INCSESs) and external neutrosophic cubic soft expert sets (ENCSESs), P-order, P-union, P-intersection, P-AND, P-OR and R-order, R-union, R-intersection, R-AND, and R-OR of NCSESs. The NCSESs satisfy the laws of commutativity, associativity, De Morgan, distributivity, idempotentency, and absorption. We derive some conditions for P-union and P-intersection of two INCSESs to be an INCSES. It is shown that P-union and P-intersection of ENCSESs need not be an ENCSES. The R-union and R-intersection of the INCSESs (resp., ENCSESs) need not be an INCSES (resp. ENCSES). Necessary conditions for the P-union, R-union and R-intersection of two ENCSESs to be an ENCSES are obtained. We also study the conditions for R-intersection and P-intersection of two NCSESs to be an INCSES and ENCSES. Finally, for its applications in games, we use the developed procedure to analyze the cricket series between Pakistan and India. It is shown that the proposed method is suitable to be used for decision-making, and as good as or better when compared to existing models. Full article

The weighted arithmetic average (WAA) and geometric average (WGA) operators are common aggregation operators for handling MADM problems. However, the neutrosophic cubic weighted arithmetic average (NCWAA) and neutrosophic cubic geometric weighted average (NCWGA) operators may result in some unreasonable aggregated values in some cases. In order to overcome the drawbacks of the NCWAA and NCWGA, this paper developed a new neutrosophic cubic hybrid weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation (NCHWAGA) operator and investigates its suitability and effectiveness. Then, we established a MADM method based on the NCHWAGA operator. Finally, a MADM problem with neutrosophic cubic information was provided to illustrate the application and effectiveness of the proposed method. Full article

Neutrosophic cubic sets (NCs) are amore generalized version of neutrosophic sets(Ns) and interval neutrosophic sets (INs). Neutrosophic cubic setsare better placed to express consistent, indeterminate and inconsistent information, which provides a better platform to deal with incomplete, inconsistent and vague data. Aggregation operators play a key role in daily life, and in relation to science and engineering problems. In this paper we defined the algebraic and Einstein sum, multiplication and scalar multiplication, score and accuracy functions. Using these operations we defined geometric aggregation operators and Einstein geometric aggregation operators. First, we defined the algebraic and Einstein operators of addition, multiplication and scalar multiplication. We defined score and accuracy function to compare neutrosophic cubic values. Then we definedthe neutrosophic cubic weighted geometric operator (NCWG), neutrosophic cubic ordered weighted geometric operator (NCOWG), neutrosophic cubic Einstein weighted geometric operator (NCEWG), and neutrosophic cubic Einstein ordered weighted geometric operator (NCEOWG) over neutrosophic cubic sets. A multi-criteria decision making method is developed as an application to these operators. This method is then applied to a daily life problem. Full article

Cubic sets are the very useful generalization of fuzzy sets where one is allowed to extend the output through a subinterval of [ 0 , 1 ] and a number from [ 0 , 1 ] . Generalized cubic sets generalized the cubic sets with the help of cubic point. On the other hand Soft sets were proved to be very effective tool for handling imprecision. Semigroups are the associative structures have many applications in the theory of Automata. In this paper we blend the idea of cubic sets, generalized cubic sets and semigroups with the soft sets in order to develop a generalized approach namely generalized cubic soft sets in semigroups. As the ideal theory play a fundamental role in algebraic structures through this we can make a quotient structures. So we apply the idea of neutrosophic cubic soft sets in a very particular class of semigroups namely weakly regular semigroups and characterize it through different types of ideals. By using generalized cubic soft sets we define different types of generalized cubic soft ideals in semigroups through three different ways. We discuss a relationship between the generalized cubic soft ideals and characteristic functions and cubic level sets after providing some basic operations. We discuss two different lattice structures in semigroups and show that in the case when a semigroup is regular both structures coincides with each other. We characterize right weakly regular semigroups using different types of generalized cubic soft ideals. In this characterization we use some classical results as without them we cannot prove the inter relationship between a weakly regular semigroups and generalized cubic soft ideals. This generalization leads us to a new research direction in algebraic structures and in decision making theory. Full article

The neutrosophic cubic set (NCS) is a hybrid structure, which consists of interval neutrosophic sets (INS) (associated with the undetermined part of information associated with entropy) and single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) (associated with the determined part of information). NCS is a better tool to handle complex decision-making (DM) problems with INS and SVNS. The main purpose of this article is to develop some new aggregation operators for cubic neutrosophic numbers (NCNs), which is a basic member of NCS. Taking the advantages of Muirhead mean (MM) operator and power average (PA) operator, the power Muirhead mean (PMM) operator is developed and is scrutinized under NC information. To manage the problems upstretched, some new NC aggregation operators, such as the NC power Muirhead mean (NCPMM) operator, weighted NC power Muirhead mean (WNCPMM) operator, NC power dual Muirhead mean (NCPMM) operator and weighted NC power dual Muirhead mean (WNCPDMM) operator are proposed and related properties of these proposed aggregation operators are conferred. The important advantage of the developed aggregation operator is that it can remove the effect of awkward data and it considers the interrelationship among aggregated values at the same time. Furthermore, a novel multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) method is established over the proposed new aggregation operators to confer the usefulness of these operators. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the developed approach. Full article

In this paper, we combined entropy with linguisti neutrosophic cubic numbers and used it in daily life problems related to a corporation that is going to choose an area supervisor, which is the main target of our proposed model. For this, we first develop the theory of linguistic neutrosophic cubic numbers, which explains the indeterminate and incomplete information by truth, indeterminacy and falsity linguistic variables (LVs) for the past, present, as well as for the future time very effectively. After giving the definitions, we initiate some basic operations and properties of linguistic neutrosophic cubic numbers. We also define the linguistic neutrosophic cubic Hamy mean operator and weighted linguistic neutrosophic cubic Hamy mean (WLNCHM) operator with some properties, which can handle multi-input agents with respect to the different time frame. Finally, as an application, we give a numerical example in order to test the applicability of our proposed model. Full article

In inconsistent and indeterminate settings, as a usual tool, the neutrosophic cubic set (NCS) containing single-valued neutrosophic numbers and interval neutrosophic numbers can be applied in decision-making to present its partial indeterminate and partial determinate information. However, a few researchers have studied neutrosophic cubic decision-making problems, where the similarity measure of NCSs is one of the useful measure methods. For this work, we propose the Dice, cotangent, and Jaccard measures between NCSs, and indicate their properties. Then, under an NCS environment, the similarity measures-based decision-making method of multiple attributes is developed. In the decision-making process, all the alternatives are ranked by the similarity measure of each alternative and the ideal solution to obtain the best one. Finally, two practical examples are applied to indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed method. Full article

Neutrosophic cubic sets are the more generalized tool by which one can handle imprecise information in a more effective way as compared to fuzzy sets and all other versions of fuzzy sets. Neutrosophic cubic sets have the more flexibility, precision and compatibility to the system as compared to previous existing fuzzy models. On the other hand the graphs represent a problem physically in the form of diagrams, matrices etc. which is very easy to understand and handle. So the authors applied the Neutrosophic cubic sets to graph theory in order to develop a more general approach where they can model imprecise information through graphs. We develop this model by introducing the idea of neutrosophic cubic graphs and introduce many fundamental binary operations like cartesian product, composition, union, join of neutrosophic cubic graphs, degree and order of neutrosophic cubic graphs and some results related with neutrosophic cubic graphs. One of very important futures of two neutrosophic cubic sets is the R-union that R-union of two neutrosophic cubic sets is again a neutrosophic cubic set, but here in our case we observe that R-union of two neutrosophic cubic graphs need not be a neutrosophic cubic graph. Since the purpose of this new model is to capture the uncertainty, so we provide applications in industries to test the applicability of our defined model based on present time and future prediction which is the main advantage of neutrosophic cubic sets.
