Agrarian women are at the forefront of rural livelihoods increasingly affected by the frequency and severity of climate change impacts. However, their household livelihood resilience (HLR) remains limited due to gender-blind policies, scarce sex-disaggregated data, and inadequate consideration of gender-specific needs in resilience-building efforts. Grounded in participatory feminist research, this study employed a multi-method qualitative approach, including semi-structured interviews and oral history narratives, with 60 women in two climate-vulnerable provinces. Data were analyzed through thematic coding, CATWOE (Customers, Actors, Transformation, Worldview, Owners, Environmental Constraints) analysis, and descriptive statistics. The findings identify nine major climate-related events disrupting livelihoods and reveal a limited understanding of HLR as a long-term, transformative concept. Adaptation strategies remain short-term and focused on immediate survival. Barriers to HLR include financial constraints, limited access to agricultural resources and technology, and entrenched gender norms restricting women’s leadership and decision-making. While local governments, women’s associations, and community networks provide some support, gaps in accessibility and adequacy persist. Participants expressed the need for financial assistance, vocational training, agricultural technologies, and stronger peer networks. Strengthening HLR among agrarian women requires gender-sensitive policies, investment in local support systems, and community-led initiatives. Empowering agrarian women as agents of change is critical for fostering resilient rural livelihoods and achieving inclusive, sustainable development. Full article

The automotive industry is a key driver of global economic growth. However, traditional management approaches, relying on statistical tools and continuous improvement methodologies from the 1990s, lack the agility needed to address today’s complex challenges. This study proposes the Agile Viable Model (AVM), which integrates Viable System Model (VSM), Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), and Agile Methodologies to enhance responsiveness, resilience, and strategic decision-making in quality management. Applied to the Problem Resolution Process in Quality Control, the study identified low network connectivity, confirming that the system operates under a Supercritical Regime, limiting efficiency. Analyst involved and his leader emerged as critical nodes, with 68% of interactions being conflictual, revealing the need for improved communication and collaboration. To address these challenges, agile tools such as virtual boards, product logs, and daily meetings were integrated, optimizing process flexibility. CATWOE analysis facilitated the development of conceptual models aligned with organizational objectives. The Problem Resolution Process is vital both pre- and post-sale, influencing customer satisfaction and warranty costs. Strengthening connectivity and collaboration will lead to faster problem resolution, reduced costs, and enhanced reputation. The AVM offers a structured yet adaptive solution, improving operational efficiency and decision-making in automotive quality management. Full article

The potentials of bamboo resources owned by the community in Ngada Regency has not been managed and appropriately utilized. There were no integrated programs between the on-farm and off-farm sectors and no clear roles and responsibilities among the stakeholders involved. Soft System Methodology (SSM) framework approach was carried out through stakeholder analysis, CATWOE analysis, and gap analysis. The root definition of the current situation was that the model of sustainable community bamboo management and utilization (W) is responsible to the local and central government as well as the bamboo manufacturing industry as off-taker (O) with integrated supporting programs and regulations, ensuring the potential of bamboo resources and the bamboo product market (E) which was carried out together with stakeholders (A) through active participation and synergy programs (T) to improve the welfare of the community of bamboo owners, craftsmen, and bamboo entrepreneurs (C). The study produces a suitable and appropriate strategy based on the corrective actions of existing problems and recommendations formulated from conceptual models and existing actual conditions on integrated sustainable bamboo management. In this article, the main subject is the problem of the location of Urban Distribution Centers (UDC) in an environment characterized by uncertainty. Thus, a decision support process based on fuzzy multi-criteria methods (F-MCDM) will be proposed as the solution. The CATWOE method is used for identifying the Stakeholders (PPs) concerned by the localization. Furthermore, direct interviews and the review of the literature help to enhance the decision criteria. The use of the F-SWARA method made it possible to weight the criteria by taking into consideration the opinion of the PPs. The F-ENTROPY method corrected the subjectivity of the weights given by the first method. The hybridization of the two is a first in the literature in this field and allows precise and realistic results. In the end, the different alternatives obtained by the F-VIKOR method are ranked. This approach was applied to the city of Casablanca, which is extremely impacted by the negative externalities of urban freight transport. The results of this study showed that zone four (AIN SBAA) is the best zone to implement the UDC in the city of Casablanca. The sensitivity analysis validated the robustness of the model. Digital twin (DT) is a technology that promises great benefits for the manufacturing industry. Nevertheless, DT implementation presents many challenges. This article looks to understand and study the problems associated with the implementation of DT models in a manufacturing domain. It applies systems thinking techniques to analyze and refine these problems. Systems thinking presents several methods and tools that help in studying a problem space and a solution space. The conceptagon framework describes the DT model as a system with several attributes and analyzes it in detail. A systemigram shows the relationship of manufacturing systems and the DT model. It maps the processes and components for DT implementation. The TRIZ method analyzes, and forecasts problems related to DT development and provides solutions based on patterns of invention. The CATWOE analysis allows identification of stakeholders and the study of the DT model from their perspectives. It provides a root definition of the DT model to refine a problem and the problem’s contradiction. The 9 windows tool helps to delimit the DT implementation problem, based on time and space. It gives eight more perspectives to solve the DT problem. Finally, the ideal final result (IFR) method provides the ideal DT model concept for manufacturing systems. Full article

Statistics of Indonesia’s (BPS) performance are not optimal since there is a lack of integration among business processes. This has resulted in unsynchronized data, unstandardized business processes, and inefficient IT investment. To encourage more qualified and integrated business processes, BPS should optimize the knowledge sharing process (KSP) among government employees in statistical areas. This study designed a Knowledge Sharing System (KSS) to facilitate KSP in BPS towards knowledge sharing improvement. The KSS manifested a hypothesis that the design of qualified knowledge management can facilitate an organization to overcome the lack of integration among business processes. Hence, BPS can avoid repetitive mistakes, improve work efficiency, and reduce the risk of failure. This study generated a business process-oriented KSS by combining soft system methodology with the B-KIDE (Business process-oriented Knowledge Infrastructure Development) Framework. It delivered research artifacts (a rich picture, CATWOE analysis (costumer, actor, transformation, weltanschauung, owner, environment), and conceptual model) to capture eight mechanisms of knowledge, map them into the knowledge process, and define the applicable technology. The KSS model has perceived a score of 0.40 using the Kappa formula that indicates the stakeholders’ acceptance. Therefore, BPS can leverage a qualified KSS towards the integrated business processes statistically while the hypothesis was accepted. Full article
