GNSS Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology has been extensively applied to post-processing international comparisons between UTC/TAI times and real-time time transfer, predominantly in static configurations. However, with the swift advancement of intelligent and unmanned systems, there is an urgent need for research into kinematic time transfer. This paper introduces a kinematic model Galileo/GPS integrated PPP time transfer approach leveraging the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS). The study utilized observational data from seven stations spanning 22 days. The findings indicate that under static conditions, GPS, Galileo, and Galileo/GPS PPP, when supported by the Galileo HAS, can achieve time transfer with sub-nanosecond precision. In kinematic scenarios, the accuracy of single-system PPP time transfer is comparatively lower, with frequent re-convergence events leading to significant accuracy degradation (exceeding 1 ns). However, in cases where re-convergence is infrequent due to a limited number of satellites, sub-nanosecond time transfer is still attainable. The Galileo/GPS integrated PPP time transfer effectively mitigates the issue of re-convergence, ensuring sub-nanosecond accuracy across all links (0.48 ns). Consequently, it is recommended to employ a multi-system integration approach for kinematic PPP time transfer, particularly when utilizing the Galileo HAS. In terms of frequency stability, GPS, Galileo, and Galileo/GPS PPP demonstrate short-term stability (over 960 s) of (5.29 × 10−13, 3.34 × 10−13, and 1.60 × 10−13), respectively, and long-term stability (over 15,360 s) of (1.49 × 10−13, 1.02 × 10−13, and 4.06 × 10−14), respectively. This study examines the potential distribution of Mackerel scad (Decapterus macarellus) in the South China Sea under future climate scenarios (SSP 1.26, SSP 2.45, SSP 5.85) using an ensemble species distribution model (SDM). Key environmental variables included sea surface salinity (SSS), sea surface height (SSH), sea surface temperature (SST), mixed-layer depth (MLD), chlorophyll-a concentration (CHL), and sea-bottom temperature (SBT). Results show that SST and MLD are the primary drivers of habitat suitability, with current suitable habitats concentrated in the northern offshore areas. Projections for the 2050s and 2090s indicate a reduction in suitable habitats, particularly under high-emission scenarios, with more gradual reductions under low-emission scenarios. Habitat loss is most pronounced in the northern South China Sea, while the central region is projected to see an expansion of suitable habitats. These findings highlight the climate impact on D. macarellus distribution and inform sustainable management strategies for the species in the region. Full article

Despite the considerable research attention paid to block copolymer (BCP)-toughened epoxy resins, the effects of their terminal groups on their phase structure are not thoroughly understood. This study fills this gap by closely examining the effects of amino and carboxyl groups on the fracture toughness of epoxy resins at different temperatures. Through the combination of scanning electron microscopy and digital image correlation (DIC), it was found that the amino-terminated BCP was capable of forming a stress-distributing network in pure epoxy resin, resulting in better toughening effects at room temperature. In a 60 wt.% silica-filled epoxy composite system, the addition of a carboxyl-terminated BCP showed little toughening effect due to the weaker filler/matrix interface caused by the random dispersion of the microphase of BCPs and distributed silica. The fracture toughness of the epoxy system at high temperatures was not affected by the terminal groups, regardless of the addition of silica. Their dynamic mechanical properties and thermal expansion coefficients are also reported in this article. Full article

The flow pattern of the forebay of the pumping station has a considerable effect on the operating efficiency and stability of the pump unit. A good forebay flow pattern can enable the pump unit to improve efficiency and operating conditions. This study takes a large pumping station as the research object and considers two rectification schemes, namely, a single bottom sill and a “bottom sill + diversion pier”. Without rectification facilities under different start-up schemes, the forebay flow pattern after the addition of rectification facilities is calculated, and the influence of single and combined rectification facilities is analyzed. Results show large-scale undesirable flow structures such as backflow and vortex in the forebay of the original design that without rectification facilities and uneven flow distribution occurs in the operating unit. The addition of a bottom sill in the forebay can control the central water beam from the water diversion pipe. The flow is divided to spread to both sides of the forebay and can be rectified twice after installing the diversion piers. The combined rectifier facility of “bottom sill + diversion pier” is beneficial to disperse incoming flow and make the flow distribution of each unit more uniform. The backflow and vortex inside the forepond are basically eliminated, and the flow state of the forepond is significantly improved. Full article

Affected by global warming; heat stress is the main limiting factor for crop growth and development. Brassica rapa prefers cool weather, and heat stress has a significant negative impact on its growth, development, and metabolism. Understanding the regulatory patterns of heat–resistant and heat–sensitive varieties under heat stress can help deepen understanding of plant heat tolerance mechanisms. In this study, an integrative analysis of transcriptome and metabolome was performed on the heat–tolerant (‘WYM’) and heat–sensitive (‘AJH’) lines of Brassica rapa to reveal the regulatory networks correlated to heat tolerance and to identify key regulatory genes. Heat stress was applied to two Brassica rapa cultivars, and the leaves were analyzed at the transcriptional and metabolic levels. The results suggest that the heat shock protein (HSP) family, plant hormone transduction, chlorophyll degradation, photosynthetic pathway, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism play an outstanding role in the adaptation mechanism of plant heat tolerance. Our discovery lays the foundation for future breeding of horticultural crops for heat resistance. Full article

Copper-based nanoinks are emerging as promising low-cost alternatives to widely used silver nanoinks in electronic printing. However, the spontaneous oxidation of copper under ambient conditions poses significant challenges to its broader application. To address this issue, this paper presents an economical, large-scale, and environmentally friendly method for fabricating Cu@Ag nanoparticles (Cu@Ag NPs). The as-prepared nanoparticles exhibit a narrow size distribution of approximately 100 nm and can withstand ambient exposure for at least 60 days without significant oxidation. The Cu@Ag-based ink, with a 60 wt% loading, was screen-printed onto a flexible polyimide substrate and subsequently heat-treated at 290 °C for 15 minutes under a nitrogen atmosphere. The sintered pattern displayed a low electrical resistivity of 25.5 μΩ·cm (approximately 15 times the resistivity of bulk copper) along with excellent reliability and mechanical fatigue strength. The innovative Cu@Ag NPs fabrication method holds considerable potential for advancing large-scale applications of copper-based inks in flexible electronics. Full article

The antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) effect of a PRRSV infection is that the preexisting sub- or non-neutralizing antibodies specific against PRRSV can facilitate the virus entry and replication, and it is likely to be a great obstacle for the selection of immune strategies and the development of high-efficiency PRRSV vaccines. However, the proteomic characterization of primary alveolar macrophages (PAMs) with a PRRSV-ADE infection has not yet been investigated so far. Therefore, we performed a tandem mass tag (TMT)-based quantitative proteomic analysis of PAMs with a PRRSV-ADE infection in this study. The results showed that a total of 3935 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were identified in the PAMs infected with PRRSV-ADE, including 2004 up-regulated proteins and 1931 down-regulated proteins. Further, the bioinformatics analysis for these DEPs revealed that a PRRSV-ADE infection might disturb the functions of ribosome, proteasome and mitochondria. Interestingly, we also found that the expression of the key molecules in the innate immune pathways and antiviral proteins were significantly down-regulated during a PRRSV-ADE infection. This study was the first attempt to analyze the proteomic characterization of PAMs with a PRRSV-ADE infection in vitro. Additionally, the findings will provide valuable information for a better understanding of the mechanism of virus–antibody–host interactions during a PRRSV-ADE infection. Full article

Phosphate (Pi) deficiency is a common phenomenon in agricultural production and limits plant growth. Recent work showed that long-term Pi deficiency caused the inhibition of photosynthesis and inefficient electron transport. However, the underlying mechanisms are still unknown. In this study, we used the physiological, histochemical, and transcriptomic methods to investigate the effect of low-Pi stress on photosynthetic gas exchange parameters, cell membrane lipid, chloroplast ultrastructure, and transcriptional regulation of key genes in melon seedlings. The results showed that Pi deficiency significantly downregulated the expression of aquaporin genes, induced an increase in ABA levels, and reduced the water content and free water content of melon leaves, which caused physiological drought in melon leaves. Therefore, gas exchange was disturbed. Pi deficiency also reduced the phospholipid contents in leaf cell membranes, caused the peroxidation of membrane lipids, and destroyed the ultrastructure of chloroplasts. The transcriptomic analysis showed that 822 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were upregulated and 1254 downregulated by Pi deficiency in leaves. GO and KEGG enrichment analysis showed that DEGs significantly enriched in chloroplast thylakoid membrane composition (GO:0009535), photosynthesis-antenna proteins (map00196), and photosynthesis pathways (map00195) were downregulated by Pi deficiency. It indicated that Pi deficiency regulated photosynthesis-related genes at the transcriptional level, thereby affecting the histochemical properties and physiological functions, and consequently causing the reduced light assimilation ability and photosynthesis efficiency. It enriches the mechanism of photosynthesis inhibition by Pi deficiency. Full article

The number of seedlings per hill and the configuration of plant row spacing are important management measures to improve rice yield. In the present study, we evaluated the impact of various seedlings per hill (1, 3, 6, and 9 seedlings hill−1) under four different rice verities (two conventional rice, two hybrid rice) on allometric characteristics, nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) and yield in 2020 at early and late season. Results showed that compared with nine seedlings per hill (wide row spacing), the number of effective panicles, yield, grain biomass allocation, grain-to-leaf ratio, grain nitrogen accumulation, nitrogen dry matter production efficiency (NDMPE), N harvest index (NHI) of 1 seedling per hill increased by 21.8%, 10.91%, 10.5%, 32.25%, 17.03%, 9.67%, 6.5%, respectively. With the increase of seedlings per hill and the expansion of row spacing, stem biomass (SB) and reproductive biomass (RB) increased with the increase of above-ground biomass, mainly showing the relationship of isometric growth. Leaf biomass (LB) increased with above-ground biomass, mainly showing the relationship of allometric growth. The results suggested that under the same basic seedlings, transplanting 1 seedling per hill and dense planting was the most beneficial to improve rice yield. Full article

With the development of the global economy, the automobile industry is also developing constantly. In recent years, due to the shortage of environmental energy and other problems, seeking clean energy as the power source of vehicles to replace traditional fossil energy could be one of the measures to reduce environmental pollution. Among them, fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles (FCHEVs) have been widely studied by researchers for their advantages of high energy efficiency, environmental protection, and long driving range. This paper first introduces the topology of common FCHEVs and then classifies and introduces the latest energy management strategies (EMSs) for FCHEVs. Finally, the future trends of EMSs for FCHEVs are discussed. This paper can be useful in helping researchers better understand the recent research progress of EMSs for FCHEVs. Full article

The intramuscular vaccine is the principal strategy to protect pigs from porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), However, it is still difficult to control PRRSV effectively. This study infected piglets with PRRSV through intramuscular and intranasal inoculation. Subsequently, viral loads, anti-PRRSV antibody levels, and neutralizing antibodies (NAs) titers in both serum and saliva were monitored for 43 days. Meanwhile, tissues were obtained through necropsy at 43 days post-inoculation (dpi) to detect viral loads. The results indicated that viremia lasted from 3 to 31 dpi in both the inoculation groups, but the viruses survived in the lungs and lymph nodes after viremia clearance. The antibody response was detected from 11 dpi, but the response of NAs was delayed until 3–4 weeks. Furthermore, intranasal inoculation induced lower viral load levels than injection inoculation. In addition, positive SIgA and NAs levels were produced early, with higher levels through intranasal inoculation. Therefore, our data indicated that a more robust antibody response and lower virus loads could be induced by intranasal inoculation, and mucosal inoculation could be a suitable pathway for PRRSV vaccines. Pre-clinical safety evaluation of traditional medicines is imperative because of the universality of drug-induced adverse reactions. Psoralen and isopsoralen are the major active molecules and quality-control components of a traditional herbal medicine which is popularly used in Asia, Fructus Psoraleae. The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term effects of psoralen and isopsoralen with low levels on the biochemical parameters and metabolic profiles of rats. Three doses (14, 28, and 56 mg/kg) of psoralen and one dose (28 mg/kg) of isopsoralen were administered to rats over 12 weeks. Blood and selected tissue samples were collected and analyzed for hematology, serum biochemistry, and histopathology. Metabolic changes in serum samples were detected via proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) spectroscopy. We found that psoralen significantly changed the visceral coefficients, blood biochemical parameters, and histopathology, and isopsoralen extra influenced the hematological index. Moreover, psoralen induced remarkable elevations of forvaline, isoleucine, isobutyrate, alanine, acetone, pyruvate, glutamine, citrate, unsaturated lipids, choline, creatine, phenylalanine, and 4-hydroxybenzoate, and significant reductions of ethanol and dimethyl sulfone. Isopsoralen only induced a few remarkable changes of metabolites. These results suggest that chronic exposure to low-level of psoralen causes a disturbance in alanine metabolism, glutamate metabolism, urea cycle, glucose-alanine cycle, ammonia recycling, glycine, and serine metabolism pathways. Psoralen and isopsoralen showed different toxicity characteristics to the rats. Full article
