Best Paper Award
The Sci Best Paper Award is granted annually to recognize publications of high quality, scientific significance, and broad impact. The evaluation committee selects one oustanding article published in the journal during the year before the previous year and announces them online by the end of June 2026.
The Prize:
– One research article or review will be selected.
– The winner will receive CHF 500, a certificate, and a voucher waiving the article processing charge for one paper (valid for one year).
Eligibility and Requirements:
– All papers published in the Sci are eligible, including both regular submissions and those in Special Issues.
Selection Criteria:
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
