Travel Award
The Risks Travel Award is to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of financial risk management and insurance, which helps to grow their profiles. The application process is open from January to August every year and winners are announced by the end of October.
The Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements
– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2025 (oral presentation or poster).
List of Documents for Application
– Information on the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
