To support the journal’s continued growth and development, Psychology International (ISSN 2813-9844) is inviting applications for an Associate Editor to further its mission of open science and high-quality scientific exchange.
Psychology International is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of psychology. It serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research across various subfields, including neuropsychology, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, sports psychology, educational psychology, social psychology, psychometrics, and mental health. Furthermore, the journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary collaboration by encouraging contributions that integrate perspectives from related fields such as sports and anthropology. Our primary goal is to facilitate the exchange of psychological knowledge among researchers and practitioners worldwide.

Recruitment:
The Associate Editor will hold the position for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.
Application eligibility:
- Completed their doctorate/PhD degree;
- Served as the first author/corresponding author on at least eight peer-reviewed and published manuscripts in the last five years;
- Published impactful work in the field of psychology;
- Currently (at the time of application) hold an Associate Professor or Professor position in academia;
- Actively engaged in their community (e.g., experienced at presenting at conferences or involved in professional organizations).

The main responsibilities of the Associate Editor are as follows:
- An Editorial Board Member is asked to review a couple of manuscripts per year and make decisions (i.e., whether to accept or reject them for publication);
- An Associate Editor may also write papers for the journal or serve as a Guest Editor of a Special Issue relating to their research interests.
The Editorial Office will seek advice from the Editorial Board whenever this is necessary or productive.
