The Korean Society of Physical Medicine (KSPM) is a leading academic society in South Korea dedicated to advancing research, clinical practice, and education in the fields of physical therapy and rehabilitation medicine. Embracing a comprehensive and interdisciplinary scope, the society covers a wide range of domains including musculoskeletal and orthopedic, neurological rehabilitation and clinical neurology, sports science and exercise therapy, geriatrics and gerontology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, community-based and occupational rehabilitation, biomechanics and motor control, as well as rehabilitation technology and assistive devices.

KSPM actively promotes the integration of foundational sciences with clinical expertise to enhance evidence-based practice across the continuum of care. Through academic conferences, scholarly publications, and collaborative research initiatives, the society fosters engagement among clinicians, researchers, and educators to improve the quality of physical therapy and rehabilitation services both within Korea and internationally.

KSPM publishes the Journal of the Korean Society of Physical Medicine (J Korean Soc Phys Med), a peer-reviewed, open-access journal featuring original research in physical medicine, physiotherapy, and translational rehabilitation science.

As an affiliated society of MDPI journals, KSPM is committed to strengthening global academic exchange through joint research activities, Special Issues, and active participation in international scholarly publication platforms.
