The 3D Metrology Conference
3DMC is an applications-focused event that brings together end users and developers of 3D measurement and metrology techniques, as well as experts in data science and production, to promote innovation in 3D measurement automation, quality assurance, and digital manufacturing.
Key drivers are 3D metrology acquisition techniques and their related data analysis procedures. Applications vary widely, including the optical measurement of large structures and inline component inspection, internal part inspection by X-ray CT, and small-surface defect evaluation. The prospects for novel metrology applications which utilize Artificial Intelligence and modern computing methods such as Edge Computing and Cloud Computing are also of interest.
This event will be relaxed and informal, with excellent networking opportunities occurring during evening events, workshops, and focus sessions. Conference presentations will either be talks or posters with no associated written papers. However, new cooperation with the MDPI journal Metrology will offer the optional opportunity for presenters to publish associated technical papers.
