We are pleased to announce that the open access journal Methane (ISSN: 2674-0389) has been indexed in Scopus as of March 2026. We extend our sincerest gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to the journal and helped us achieve this important milestone.
Methane is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of methane, published quarterly online by MDPI. It features novel research findings, reviews, communications, and other article types covering methane's natural formation and synthesis, its applications (e.g., industrial use, transportation, etc.), its impact (economic, environmental, etc.), and its recycling.
Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as necessary. Therefore, there are no restrictions on the maximum length of papers, provided full experimental details are given to ensure the reproducibility of results. We are confident you will find your own way to contribute to this journal through your research.
To make the most of the opportunities this indexing brings, we warmly invite you to submit your research to Methane. If you are working on a paper within the journal's scope, please submit it via our website: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/methane.
Last, but not least, we hope that you enjoy reading the articles published in Methane.
