Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Journal of Developmental Biology


The Journal of Developmental Biology (JDB, ISSN: 2221-3759), an international, peer-reviewed, and open access journal published by MDPI, is currently expanding its Editorial Board to better represent the broad and interdisciplinary nature of developmental biology. We are seeking experts to join our team and help guide the journal’s development, particularly in areas where we wish to strengthen representation.

We especially welcome scholars with expertise in the following areas:

  • Embryonic development;
  • Regeneration and metamorphosis;
  • Cell fate determination and differentiation;
  • Evolutionary developmental biology;
  • Developmental genetics and epigenetics;
  • Organoid- and stem cell-based developmental models;
  • Developmental neurobiology and immunology;
  • Systems biology of development;
  • Cancer and developmental pathways.

Responsibilities of Editorial Board Member:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on submissions aligned with your expertise;
  • Organizing or proposing Special Issues on cutting-edge topics in developmental biology;
  • Supporting the journal’s growth by promoting it at conferences and within your networks;
  • Providing strategic advice on new initiatives, sections, or directions for the journal;
  • Contributing to the peer review process.
