About Hearts

Aims

Hearts (ISSN 2673-3846) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies related to cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. The journal publishes high-quality papers covering basic, translational, and clinical research, in all areas of innovative science for cardiovascular medicine and at the interface of related disciplines. Publications include original research articles, reviews, guideline documents, and communications; however, other article types may be considered.

This journal is aimed at a wide audience of both practicing clinicians and researchers, including cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, electrophysiologists, clinical physiology experts, interventionalists, angiologists, specialists in internal medicine, pediatricians, nurses, and others interested in cardiovascular medicine. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. The journal therefore places no restrictions on the length of papers submitted and published. Electronic files related to the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be included in the main text, can be deposited as supplementary material.
