Open & Reproducible Science

A section of Clocks & Sleep (ISSN 2624-5175).

Section Information

This section of Clocks & Sleep focuses on open science, reproducibility, and meta-science. A particular focus is on registered reports, in which peer review of protocol and hypotheses precedes data collection, irrespective of the study outcome, to minimize publication bias and the file drawer problem. We welcome articles from all areas of sleep and circadian science that take an open-science angle as well. Topics include, but are not limited to:

–Registered reports (Detailed guidelines for registered reports can be accessed here: https://www.mdpi.com/about/article_types/registered_reports)

–Methods that facilitate open-science practices (e.g., data sharing, reproducibility)

–Meta-science of sleep science and chronobiology
