Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Antibodies editorial office, I am pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Antibodies Travel Awards:

  • The first Travel Awards Prize (800 CHF) goes to Carlos Castrillon, PhD student at the Institut Pasteur, Paris, France (laboratory of Dr. Pierre Bruhns). Carlos Castrillon’s research focuses on single-cell bioassays based on droplet microfluidics.
  • The second Travel Awards Prize (600 CHF) goes to Veronika Chromikova, Post-doctoral fellow at Department of Microbiology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY, USA (laboratory of Professor Dr. Florian Krammer). Veronika Chromikova’s research deals with the recombinant production of monoclonal IgMs, using CHO DG44 and HEK 293 cell lines.
  • The Third Travel Awards Prize goes to Min Shen, PhD student at Department of Chemistry, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, USA (laboratory of Professor Dr. James F. Rusling). Min Shen’s current research focuses on the accurate profiling of the IgE antibody repertoire in individuals exposed to allergens such as peanuts.
  • Additionally, Ms. Marieke Heineke, Dr. Minkyo Song and Dr. CandaceBever were awarded Excellent Young Researcher certificates.
