Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I am pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 Aerospace Travel Awards.
Landon Kamps, a PhD student at Hokkaido University, whose research focuses on hybrid rocket. He is planning to present his work “Development of N2O/HDPE Hybrid Rocket for Microsatellite Propulsion” at the 70th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2019) in Washington, D.C., USA.
Stefania Carlotti, a PhD student at Politecnico di Milano, whose research focuses on multiphase flow in solid rocket motors. She is planning to present her work “Performance and environmental impact prediction of SRMs. Road map for reliable dataset of particles in plume” at the 70th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2019) in Washington, D.C., USA.
The awards consist of 650 Swiss Francs each towards attending the conference.
It was a difficult decision with such high quality applications for the awards and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and thought-provoking presentations. We congratulate the winners for their accomplishments.
