The International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing (CISCom) is a premier annual forum that brings together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and discuss recent advances and emerging trends in computational intelligence, cybersecurity, and communication technologies. The 2025 edition of CISCom was organized by the Bangalore Institute of Management Academy, Bangalore, India, in association with Fakulti Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan Elektronik dan Komputer (FTKEK); Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia; Poornima University Jaipur, India; IcfaiTech; and The ICFAI University, Jaipur, India. The conference was held in Melaka, Malaysia, during 26–27 November 2025. As the inaugural edition, CISCom 2025 successfully established a vibrant platform for a high-quality research exchange and fostered international collaboration among scholars worldwide.
CISCom 2025 received a total of 63 paper submissions from researchers representing various countries and academic institutions. Each manuscript underwent a rigorous peer-review process conducted by experts from the international Program Committee. Based on originality, technical merit, and presentation quality, 17 papers were selected for inclusion in the Computer Sciences and Mathematics Forum. The resulting acceptance rate of 29.9% reflects the conference’s strong commitment to maintaining high academic and publication standards.
The technical program of CISCom 2025 featured keynote lectures by distinguished experts, who shared valuable insights into cutting-edge developments in their respective domains. The keynote speakers included Dr. Gang Li, Professor and Director of AI Analytics, Deakin Cyber Research and Innovation Centre, Deakin University, Australia; Dr. Catarina Barata, Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR/IST), LARSyS, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal; Mr. Arun Kumar Elengovan, Director of Engineering Security at Okta, Inc., San Francisco, USA; and Mr. Nandagopal Seshagiri, Senior Software Architect at Okta, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Their thought-provoking contributions significantly enriched the conference and inspired participants to pursue new research directions.
In addition to keynote lectures, the conference featured thematic technical sessions, industry presentations, and panel discussions, including the session titled “Closing the Data Divide: Academia–Industry Collaboration for Secure and Scalable Data Sharing in Computational Intelligence”. This panel brought together distinguished participants from the USA, Malaysia, and India to deliberate on contemporary challenges in artificial intelligence, secure systems, communication networks, and data-driven technologies.
As we reflect on the successful organization of this conference and the publication of this volume, we express our sincere gratitude to all authors for their high-quality contributions and to the reviewers for their diligent efforts, constructive feedback, and dedication to academic excellence. We also acknowledge the invaluable support of the Organizing Committee, Session Chairs, Invited Speakers, and the MDPI editorial team, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth conduct and success of CISCom 2025. Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their active engagement and for fostering an enriching and stimulating scholarly environment.
