Cover Story: The 14th Asian Congress of Nutrition, organized by the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS) and the Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS), convened in Chengdu, Sichuan, from September 14 to 17, 2023. The congress’s theme, ‘Feeding the Future by Sustainable Nutrition’, highlighted the critical importance of nutrition science in our rapidly evolving world. Nearly 4,000 participants from across Asia and beyond came together to discuss the indispensable role of nutrition science in fostering the health and prosperity of our progressively advancing global society. This landmark event underscored the pivotal contribution Asia makes regarding global health and also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS).
