Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This review is as for me outstanding summary of presented topic. Oxygen persufflation becomes still more and more popular issue, as wel as machine persufflation in general. That is why this review is very helpful in orientation in this field and authors have proved excellent overview in it.

The manuscript is very well organised, inclusion criteria for data search are well selected, the paper is easy to read it and also it is easy to find any information when you read it again. History section is interesting, not all informations are commonly known,.

Then all approaches as a retrogrede or antegrade oxygenous persufflation is mentioned and widely discussed (pros and cons), separate sections for each solid organ (kidney, liver, pancreas) is helpful. Also all alternative methods are listed and explained.

What is also very interesting the section about commercial development of of different devices, it can help readers to find important informations.

To be honest, although I am well oriented in this field, this paper is very interesting and really very helpful for me. I strongly recommend it for publication.

As the authors are English native speakers and I am not, I cannot judge the language quality obviously.

Reviewer 2 Report

The review comprehansively reviews perfusslation in te conteaxt of transplantation. With regard to optimizing organ preservation and increasing the number of organs available for transplantation it is very interesting for the community. Furthermore it is well-structured and written. Congrats!

I don´t have any further suggestions and comments.
