This manuscript is well written and very thorough. All main contents are covered very well. The experiments were well executed. The findings of the study are interesting and further expand our knowledge and understanding of solubility in aqueous-organic mixtures. I recommend the publication of the manuscript after a minor revision.

Line 425, page 12, "semipolar solvent media" should be clarified. Is this a general comment or specific to benzoic acid in water-ethanol mixtures?

Many thanks for your kind concept about our research.

Regarding  your inquiry, we expanded the respective sentence as: "Moreover, ΔsolnG° values decrease continuously from neat water to neat ethanol indicating more affinity of benzoic acid by semipolar solvent media like the one corresponding to neat ethanol or even by less polar solvents if they were analyzed.", to make the idea more clear.
