Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsComments:
1) The study addresses a significant gap in understanding the wavelength-dependent temporal characteristics of COâ‚‚ lasers, offering novel insights that are highly relevant for applications in isotope separation and EUV light sources.
2) The experimental setup is well-conceived and meticulously documented, utilizing a high-pressure COâ‚‚ MOPA system to produce reliable and meaningful results. The design effectively supports the research objectives.
3)The findings are presented clearly and supported by robust experimental data and theoretical calculations. The phenomena of pulse broadening and narrowing are thoroughly explained through gain dynamics, demonstrating a solid understanding of the underlying mechanisms.
Suggestions:
In section 4. Analysis and Discussion, The specific parameters for simulation in formulas 1-3 should be provided , it can be listed in table.
Comments on the Quality of English LanguageThe manuscript is well-organized and clearly written, it could be improved to more clearly express the research. In my opinion, Quality of English meets the requirements of publication, considering English in not native language for the authors.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe comments and questions to the paper are as follows.
- Two subheadings 3 appeared in the text on the lines 117 and 123.
- It was written that the oscillator and CO2 laser amplifier have different gas mixture composition. Please explain the reason for this.
- The text around Figure 3 discusses the change in pulse width after amplification, although the pulse width itself is not specified
- The meaning of the J symbol in expressions (2) and (3) is not given in the text.
- The procedure for calculating the time behavior of the gain should be explained in more detail.
- The procedure for calculating the time behavior of the amplifier gain should be explained in more detail. Was gain saturation taken into account for strong pulses?
The English could be improved to more clearly express the research.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe research fills a gap in understanding the temporal evolution during the amplification process across different spectral lines, which is valuable for optimizing laser performance in these applications. However, several points need to be revised before its publication.
(1) In Figure 2 and Figure 3, it would be beneficial to add error bars to represent the measurement uncertainties. This can provide readers with a better understanding of the reliability of the data. Also, the legends in the figures could be more detailed to clearly explain the meaning of each data series.
(2) Although the authors have reviewed some previous research on
CO2 MOPA systems, they did not directly compare their results with those of other studies in a systematic way. Comparing the observed pulse width changes, energy amplification factors, and gain characteristics with existing literature can help to better position this work in the context of current research, highlight its novelty, and identify areas for further improvement.
(3) In the "Analysis and Discussion" section, add a sub - section specifically dedicated to discussing the limitations of the high - pressure CO2 six - temperature model. Cite relevant literature that has pointed out similar model limitations in related research, and explain how the authors have tried to minimize the impact of these limitations in this study.
