Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The presented work proposes a method to utilize ring resonators to provide feedback in the system to keep the alignment between the laser source and the ring resonant frequency. The proposed method is supposed to be helpful in decreasing the dispersion effects and thermal drifting effects.  The presented work is written clearly and possesses good merit since it is supported by experimental evidence. However, before being fit to publish, the authors are encouraged to consider the following two minor comments:

1-      The article is too lengthy. This might push many readers away and decrease its chances of getting good citation. I recommend shrinking the size of the article by 30%. One way to do that might be through shrinking the size of the pictures. However, if the authors choose to keep it in the same form, I will not object.

2-      There is no comparison between the presented work and similar published works in literature. Adding a table of comparison to the discussions section will be very useful to the reader to show how distinguished this work is compared to other approaches.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Questions and comments on the article under review:
- in equation (1) of the article under review, the factor “2” is missing in the argument of the trigonometric function;
-why show Figure 1 if it repeats Figure 4 from article [17] in the list of references?
- in Figure 11, resistances R17-R22, R24, and R29 do not have a nominal value; in Figure 12, resistance R19 does not have a nominal value; in Figure 21a, it is necessary to correct the frequency entry;
- in References 5, 34, and 35, it is necessary to correct the output of the article; in References 8 and 28, it is necessary to correct the name of the author.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The author has answered the questions in the first round of review, such as the influence of factors namely optical fiber dispersion or length. Although there is no detailed analysis and discussion, the author has given a conclusion. Perhaps due to the length of the manuscript, the author has considered not adding additional explanations in the revised version. The structure is also optimized, and the comparison of related literature is added. It can be decided by the editor after corrections to minor methodological errors and text editing.
