Round 1

This is an interesting contribution to the existing literature, but the paper suffers from several shortcomings listed in the following comments.
- The paper should be checked by a native.
- A discussion section should be added.
- The introduction should be updated by recent researches.
- The novelty and contribution should be clearly bolded.
- The authors should consider the following works:
Diagnosis and clustering of power transformer winding fault types by cross-correlation and clustering analysis of FRA results, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution 12 (19), 4301-4309.
Application of statistical control charts to discriminate transformer winding defects, Electric Power Systems Research 191, 106890.
Transformer Winding Faults Detection Based on Time Series Analysis, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement 70, 1-10.
- It’s better to suggest some subjects for future works.
Best regards,

Dear Authors,
Your work is very interesting. However, the following points could be considered in order to improve the paper.
1. A literature review regarding similar research and other approaches is missing. I suggest to include a short literature review including the state of the art in the paper topic i.e. a short presentation of references 11-13 and other relevant papers. This will help the reader to understand the novelty and the significance of your work.
2. A discussion session is also missing. I suggest to include it. It will also help the reader to understand the significance as well as the scientific soundness and the advantages of your approach.
3. There are some linguistic mistakes and language improvement is possible. I suggest the authors to review English language and style.

Thanks for improvement.
A minor typo: in last three references, Abbasi is True, not Abbasia.
