Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Presented research is very interesting for all those dealing with brace treatment. More comfortable brace design is not only the matter of possible patient’s better compliance but also quality of life.

Early results are promising. The article schould be accepted after correction of some misspelings.

Reviewer 2 Report

Congratulations on the study that will contribute to the choice for the treatment of scoliosis. I would like to make a suggestion and to clarify some questions.

I would like the authors to explain the main differences between the 2 types of vests using the figures for a better understanding of readers who do not know these types of braces.

I didn´t understand what the inclusion criteria were for the Free Pelvis brace (cases: FPB group). Were the same for the Sforzesco brace group? With the same time of daily use?

“All patients were also prescribed Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis Specific Exercises (PSSE) according to the SEAS (Scientific Exercises Approach to Scoliosis) school” – Were these exercises performed with the brace or was removed?
