- Children with fully erupted permanent first molars and central incisors.

- Children who had received oral hygiene instruction or used disclosing agents during the 3 months prior to the study;

- Permanent first molars restored with stainless steel crowns or gold crowns;

- Children who can’t brush their teeth themselves due to the medical conditions;
