Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This paper presents the networking of microcontrollers and firmware that controls load on the service’s servers. A specialized networking of microcontrollers with services servers that enhances the fault tolerance of the IoT network is also presented. My specific comments are listed as follows.

1.      What are the contributions of this paper?

2.      The literature review should be expanded to provide a more comprehensive overview of recent advancements in fault tolerance of the IoT networks.

3.      The paper mentions that the faults in the IoT system include cascading faults, pattern faults, and device-to-device communication faults. What fault is considered in this paper? Can other faults be solved using the method described in this paper? What are the difficulties to be solved?

4.      The authors need to check the manuscript to correct the writing issues and typos carefully.

5.      The reference format is incomplete, lacking issue, volume and page numbers, such as [4], [25] and [27]. Please carefully check the references.

The authors present in this paper a specialized networking of microcontrollers with service servers that improves the fault tolerance of the IoT network. This paper addresses an interesting topic with the possibility of future application. The contribution in this paper is clear, however some comments must be made to improve the quality of the article.

- The abstract must be refined in order to describe the content of the paper.

- Add a paragraph that describes the organization of the paper.

- Put figure 3 in its place after its citation in the text.

- Line 294: Add two points (:) after "Alternative Justification".

- Put tables 1, 2 and 3 in their places after their citations.

- The list of references needs to be revised in order to make it standardized. (For example reference 8, add the year of publication, ...).

- In the Conclusion section: Please revise for more concise and direct conclusions rather than summary-based conclusions.

- Finally the paper needs minor revision to improve the quality of the paper.
