Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article entitled: "Measuring Chinese English as a Foreign Language Learners' Self-Efficacy in Vocabulary Learning: Instrument Development and Validation" is a coherent contribution to the field of language teaching. It is designed for foreign language learning. It focuses on vocabulary as a key aspect of development. The objectives shown are in line with the study problem and are in accordance with the methodology used. The number of participants chosen is correct for this type of research (although the authors indicate this as a limitation, which could be improved for future studies). The statistical analysis is thorough and the conclusions reached are valid, detailing the generated and validated instrument (focused on vocabulary) that can be used autonomously by learners of English as a foreign language in the Chinese context. The references are appropriate and more than 40% of them correspond to the last five years. Therefore, no weaknesses can be detected in the text and it has the potential to be accepted for publication.
