The Aerospace Editorial Office retracts the article “Real Time Measurement of Airplane Flutter via Distributed Acoustic Sensing” [1], as cited above.
Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office regarding concerns relating to Figures 6 and 7 in the paper [1].
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editor-in-Chief that confirmed Figures 6 and 7 in the paper [1] had been modified in a way that raises a significant concern regarding the validity and integrity of the findings of this article [1]. Consequently, the Editorial Board has lost confidence in the integrity of the findings and decided to retract this article [1], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark8).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Aerospace.
The authors disagreed to this retraction.
