Reviewer 1 Report
This paper address the inssues of open science paradigm and society social contact. It is an imporant theme in the current business world.
- The author has raised key challenges at the end of the first session, however, it is better to follow a standard structure with 'Background and Introduction", and change these challenges as research questions.
- It is also better to include one session of the research method, even though most evidences are from secondary studies.
- Covid-19 impact is a really challenge currently. This issue needs to be highlighted in the 'Background and Introduction' and addressed in the research questions.
- JOItmC reference format needs to be applied, especially in the reference list.

I have in footnotes mentioned that these challenges are in fact research questions

This is not a theory and empirical data-based paper. It is perspective paper based on certain intellectual views arising out of current development in science, technology and world affairs.

Reviewer 2 Report
The theme of the study is of interest to science and technology policymakers, marketers, and scholars. The manuscript has been well written, so some revisions can be suggested for the paper as follows:
- What is the definition of “Sustainable Science”? It appears only in the title, so please specify more clearly how sustainable science applies to this study.
- This paper needs to clarify the purpose of the study more clearly. It also needs to have more persuasive justification; How is this paper different from other studies?
- It is suggested to provide implications, further study, and limitations of the study in more detail.
- It is recommended that the author makes more 3-5 citations from academic journals such as the Journal of Open Innovation.

defined and explained in one of the footnotes
This paper needs to clarify the purpose of the study more clearly. It also needs to have more persuasive justification; How is this paper different from other studies?
The purpose is quite evident from the questions raised in the beginning. The justification for the study is due to the very transformation of science and society relationship that is undergoing. This is not a theory and empirical data-based paper. It is perspective paper based on certain intellectual views arising out of current development in science, technology and world affairs.
It is suggested to provide implications, further study, and limitations of the study in more detail.
They are to some extent obvious in the concluding remarks.
