Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

some modifications are needed. the suggestions are as follows:

Plots 4, 6, 7: The level of the (abscissae) is missing. Please add those.

Some of the expressions needs rewrite.

Some of the expression needs rewrite.

“Task-level aware scheduling for energy-constrained applications on heterogeneous multi-core system”

can be edited to

“Task-level-aware scheduling of energy-constrained applications in heterogeneous multi-core system”

“Minimizing schedule length of energy consumption constrained parallel applications on heterogeneous multi-core system has attracted much attention in recent studies.”

can be edited to

“Minimizing schedule length of parallel applications, which run on a heterogeneous multi-core system and are subject to energy consumption constraints, has recently attracted much attention.”

“In recent years, with the increasing application requirements, the performance of computer system is required to be higher and higher.”

can be edited to

“Computer systems nowadays must perform much better than ever before, ensuring the simultaneous running of many applications.”

Please consider to put a notation section. Please reconsider the symbol. Some of the symbols have very long subscript.

Reviewer 2 Report

I have some comments as follows:

1. What is the limitation of your work?

2. How did you evaluate the benefit of your work?

3. What hardware platform did you use to evaluate the performance of your algorithms? (i.e., what kind of CPU, its frequency, OS version?).

Reviewer 3 Report

It is a good article but it needs to be improved. For example, how can practical implementation, hardware and / or software be done? Give some examples.

Another remark is that both the Abstract and Conclusions sections need to be modified and improved because there are identical paragraphs as in other articles and there must be your own opinions and not taken from other articles (I have attached the Turnitin report).

The Conclusions section should also be extended.

The bibliographic references must be updated with more recent ones.

Round 2

Reviewer 2 Report

The revised manuscript is better, and it can be accepted for publication.

Author Response

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We made a small modification (change the word "attain" to "reach") in Abstract to make the expression more accurate.

Reviewer 3 Report

The authors have improved the paper and can be published now, be careful at the sentences in Abstract such as "attain" I think it was better to use for example "achieve" or "reach".

Author Response

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We changed the word "attain" to "reach" in Abstract to make the expression more correct.
