Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

What is the state of the art performance in underwater power and data transmission? Comparison to other works is missing.

The presentation can be improved. Please proofread the paper. For example line 247 has an extra dot point after Figure. Line 219 used "Fig." for the figure number seven. Equations can be centered. Line 254 Table I vs Table 1 on Line 256. And so on.

Thanks for your advice. We have added relevant research literature and added a comparison with other literature work in the preface. Now the author has revised them and highlighted them in the article.

Reviewer 2 Report

abstract should be re-formulate to a research question

Work looks more a report than a scientific work.

Improve also presentation sequence, work is hard to follow in a logical sequence

improve figure labels

Figure 1. cable inspection machine fish working  (start with capital letter)

Figure 2. (???) and data time-sharing transmission system structure diagram

Figure 9 too small impossible to read

improve equation numbers labels

Reviewer 3 Report

This paper proposes a wireless energy and data transmission composite topology based on magnetic coupling resonance technology for the problem of wireless charging and data  transmission of the submarine cable patrol robot fish. Although the parameter design method is given in references, the papameters' value of the ICPT are given in table 1.  In my point of view the paper is a well written theoretical paper and could be published in its presence form.

Some minor comments:

1. Please describe the buck converter to the figure 2

2. Please correct line  70 for ICPT (Inductively Coupled Power Transfer) system instead of Magnetic Field Coupled Radio Energy Transmission
