The journal retracts the article titled “Research on Texture Feature Recognition of Regional Architecture Based on Visual Saliency Model” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were raised by the authors regarding inaccuracies found in the experimental data, the omission of certain citations, and copyright issues in this publication [1].
Adhering to the concerns raised, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Board, which confirmed reproducibility issues due to the inconsistencies found in the methodology, dataset used, analysis, and presentation of experimental data. As a result, the Editorial Board has decided to accept the request of the authors and retract this paper as per MDPI’s retraction policy (MDPI|Research and Publication Ethics).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Electronics.
The authors agree to this retraction.
