Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

A very important and interesting subject of research, very well presented. The scienfic and technical aspects are very described. The results are sound and very well presented. Congratulations for the good work.

Author Response

Thank you very much for appreciating the value of our work.

It is recommended that the authors increase the number of updated citations in the last 3 years; this subject is new and there are certainly more updated citations than those referenced as justification for the work.

The authors propose a weighted fusion decision algorithm by means of the blockchain technology. I think the work is interesting. In addition to the conventional ways, quantum protocols are the most promising secure protocols that guarantee the perfect security of the blockchain system. See for example

Since quantum computation attracts glowing attentions, it will be better for the authors to mention relevant blockchain technology and quantum computation.

Round 2

Reviewer 3 Report

The authors revised the manuscript based on the reviewers report.

Just one thing before publishing. Regarding [24], as far as I know, the first quantum blockchain using the no-cloning theorem and quantum digital signature was invented by Kazuki Ikeda in https://arxiv.org/abs/1708.04955 (2017), which was published by https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-01174-1_58

His seminal work (2017) was featured by IEEE https://spectrum.ieee.org/tech-talk/computing/networks/qbitcoin-making-bitcoin-quantumcomputer-proof and I'm sure that a number of works appeared after his work. That is 3 years before the work by Gao et al [24] was published in 2020.

So it is scientifically fair to mention his work in along with [24].

By the way, [23] is another reference by Dr. Ikeda, as the authors refers to. In this work, he gave a comprehensive summary of several classical attacks on classical blockchain, and how it could be vulnerable against quantum attack, and how one can make it secure by quantum chain.

Kazuki Ikeda is a young pioneer of quantum blockchain, although his contributions have been currently underestimated.
