The journal retracts the article titled “Influence of DETA on Thermal and Corrosion Protection Properties of GPTMS-TEOS Hybrid Coatings on Q215 Steel” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding redundancy between this publication [1] and an earlier article [2] produced by common authors.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation that confirmed a significant redundancy between these publications [1,2], which includes Section 3.6 and Figure 7, without appropriate acknowledgement, citation or permission. As a result, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this publication [1], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the Coatings journal.
The authors agreed to this retraction.
