Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
1) Please, eliminate the abbreviated first names of the authors in the text. (S. Huber->Huber)
2) Use two rounded decimal places for Cronbach alpha and correlation.
3) In 3.1 Sample Characteristics, line 165-166 the percentages should be consistent: Orthodox with one decimal place like the others, Pentecostals with one decimal place like the others (3,4 %). - The same in Table 1 "Seventh - day adeventists (27,?).
4) Table 3, Line 193 instead of "," it should be ";" (to be consistent). Please check also Table 5, line 221 for consistency.
5) There is sometime accidentially the space-bar used.

I eliminated the abbreviated first names of authors in the text.
2) Use two rounded decimal places for Cronbach alpha and correlation.
We have rounded the decimals for Cronbach alpha and correlation.
3) In 3.1 Sample Characteristics, line 165-166 the percentages should be consistent: Orthodox with one decimal place like the others, Pentecostals with one decimal place like the others (3,4 %). - The same in Table 1 "Seventh - day adeventists (27,?).
We have modified the percentages where it was needed.
4) Table 3, Line 193 instead of "," it should be ";" (to be consistent). Please check also Table 5, line 221 for consistency.
The specified lines were made consistent, by replacing the "," with ";".
5) There is sometime accidentially the space-bar use
The unnecessary spaces were removed.
Reviewer 2 Report
This is a useful creation of a measure of centrality of religion for Romania. The translated measure has good reliability and reasonable correlations suggestive of construct validity. The one thing I would not suggest is editing is the suggestion to translate item 7 individually for each tradition. This will surely lead to some doing it, others not, and some doing it wrong. It is best to leave the item as in the original and from which the confirmatory factor analysis was run.

I eliminated the suggestion " For the accuracy of the measurement we propose that item 7 be adapted to each religious confession: (a) orthodox, catholic, pentecostal, baptiste - To what extent do you believe in an afterlife - eg. immortality of the soul, resurrection of the dead? (c) seventh day adventist - To what extent do you believe in an afterlife - eg. resurrection of the dead? ".
