This paper explores the strategic crisis response of the top 10 shipping lines in the post COVID-19 era and provides a comprehensive analysis of their startegy including the themes of sustainability, CSR and MM besides the crisis management. The paper is clear and informative, and the findings of the authors are relevant and adequately describe the overall efforts of these shipping lines to respond to COVID-19. The discussion section is well-developed and analyses the findings of this study in relation to the existing literature that has been referenced earlier in the text and encompasses crisis management, CSR and MM theories. The conclusions are supported by the results and provide valuable policy recommendations to shipping companies. My main recommendation and suggestion to the authors would be to enrich their literature review by adding academic literature relevant to the various themes addressed. Some potential examples include: Lai, K.H., V.Y. Lun, C.W. Wong, and T.C.E. Cheng. 2011. Green shipping practices in the shipping industry: Conceptualization, adoption, and implications.
