- At least 18-years old patients;

- Patients with alveolar ridge deficiency;
- Studies reporting on bone augmentation;
- Data on at least one outcome variable of interest.
- Extraoral bone grafts;
- Sinus floor elevation procedures;
- Bone ring techniques;
- Distraction osteogenesis;
- Alveolar ridge splitting;
- Full edentulous patients;
- Patients taking anti-resorptive drugs;
- Patients who underwent radiation therapy;
- Patients with pathologies affecting bone metabolism (i.e., osteoporosis, osteopenia, rheumatoid arthritis);
- Containing insufficient information on the surgical protocol and bone augmentation procedures.
