Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This study provided sufficient experimental evidence to support the conclusion.

Overall the results are solid and consistent. Several issues still need to be addressed before publication. The following questions may help the authors to improve the quality of their already outstanding manuscript.

At many places the flow is interrupted due to grammatical errors. redundancy of text and too wordy text. At many places the meaning of sentences are not clear. Authors are advised to carefully go through the manuscript and make it crisp and make other corrections where ever needed

Author Response

Thank you for constructive comment and criticisms regarding our manuscript. English language editing have been made again to correct grammatical errors. Sentences were changed simple and clear.

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors presented a large study aimed to investigate the prevalence of PICS among ICU survivors from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Corea.

The manuscript is well-designed and the presentation of the results is easy to follow the method that the authors have developed.

There are some minor changes that should be addressed before continuing the publication process.

  1. Since the study was limited to the population from Corea, please consider including "South Korea" or "Republic of Korea" in the title.
  2. Please, clarify how did you deal with the validation of the neuropsychological scales? The scales were in a different language (most of them in English).
  3. What were the implications of having two versions of the MoCA test? How does this impact your results?
  4. would you mind clarifying why did you use ANOVA for the statistical analysis instead of a Poisson regression? I strongly recommend using it and evaluating the RR for the outcomes that you evaluated. Also, please provide the software (licence, version, etc )
  5. You have estimated the prevalence of PICS, which was quite relevant. However, the design that you have employed allows for calculating the incidence. Why you didn't report it?
