Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

- The contribution of this article should be made more explicit.

- Can the same method be used in robot design for other applications? What adaptations should be made is not openly discussed.

- The results obtained should be compared with the studies in the literature.

Reviewer 2 Report

This paper  proposes a method to design and evaluate the morphological characteristics and combination schemes of industrial robot modules, which meets the research and application needs of kansei engineering in robot module design.

This reviewer proposes the following recommendations for publication.

1. please indicate a bibliographic reference in the methods not developed by the authors. For example, line 182 Semantic Differential Method.

2. replace "expert consultation" (line 182)  with "expert judgment method", and add a bibliographic reference to the method https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-1-4471-5097-8_3

3. The methods section should be expanded and rigorously written. Much more information about the proposed method is added in section 4 of the case study than in section 3 of methods. Please complete and expand the methods section with all the conceptual information explained in section 4.

4. It is mandatory  to add a discussion section, which includes the advantages of the proposed method, the comparison of this method with the existing ones (citing the previous methods and the main differences with them) and future lines of work.
