Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors explored the prognostic value of the expressions of SATB1, SMAD3, Ezrin, and beta-catenin in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma. By checking the protein expression and mRNA expression levels, they concluded their hypothesis that either single or combined and expression of these markers are helpful in predicting PDAC. The MM is detailed, results are backed by enough data, and the conclusion is supported by the results. I'd give the article a pass with minor english and grammar checking.

Reviewer 2 Report

Author Response

Thank you very much for the review of our manuscript. Undoubtedly, DNA methylation signatures have great potential as molecular biomarkers to guide clinical management of PDAC. However, it appears to be beyond the scope of our study. The authors have chosen not to make a suggested change to the research paper.
