Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,

Thank you very much for your paper. In this paper the authors presented a study entitled: “ High grade B-cell lymphoma not otherwise specified (HGBL-NOS) in the maxillary sinus mimicking periapical inflammation: Case report and review of the literature. “

Although it involves an interesting and clinically relevant topic, in fact the aim of this case report is  to describe an interesting case  of HGBL NOS located in the maxillary sinus, however, the present study has several concerns, primarily in terms of its novelty and methodology.

In fact, multiple studies have been done about High grade B-cell Lymphoma not otherwise specified.

(Examples include Li J, Liu X, Yao Z, Zhang M. High-Grade B-Cell Lymphomas, Not Otherwise Specified: A Study of 41 Cases. Cancer Manag Res. 2020;12:1903-1912
https://doi.org/10.2147/CMAR.S243753

Moreover, the text was not placed in the correct template. Please read carefully the instructions for authors. The bibliography has also not been formatted properly.

Definitely, I think that this case report, although overall well written, is too minimal to be published in a journal  like Applied sciences( impact factor 2.679).

Dear Authors,

The article: High grade B-cell lymphoma not otherwise specified (HGBL-NOS) in the maxillary sinus mimicking periapical inflammation: Case report and review of the literature" was described a rare case of HGBL NOS involving the maxillary sinus and maxillary bone in an adult male with atypical clinical presentation, mimicking a periapical inflammation.

It is required to prepare the article using the MDPI template.

Abstract should be unstructurized.

Figure captions must be placed under the figures. Better figures quality is required (Especially figure 6). Figures need to be better described (arrow - you can see this and that). MRI - what sequence and sections.

Overall, the article is very interesting and valuable. However, it was not prepared in accordance with the MDPI guidelines. The article must be re-prepared and resubmit after major corrections.
