Thank you for your review and for your time. It is greatly appreciated.

Reviewer 2 Report

The MS submitted by Messyasz and coworkers explores the effect of nutrient enrichment on the diversityof microbiomes in a marine trophic symbiosis between algal Farming fish and corals. The topic is of interest onf fits to the general scope of the journal. The MS is in general well written and organized. Introduction is well supported by references. Materials and methods are well described.

Some minor issues must be addressed by the authors in the MS as well as in supplementary materials. Comments have been embedded through the MS in order to help the authors to improve this version. Regarding to supplementary materials:

-Error bars in points plotted in figures S2 ans S6.

- Subscript in numbers related to chemical fomula used in the legend of figure S2.

- Table S5: Bacterium strain MRB-09 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence. As scientific name "bacterium" is used. Please, review it.
