Granulicatella spp., a Causative Agent of Infective Endocarditis in Children
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
In the manuscript "Granulicatella spp, a causative agent of infective endocarditis in children: Mini review article", the authors describe the importance of these nutritionally demanding streptococci, which are very often neglected as cause of disease.
Although little has been written about these nutritionally variant streptococci, the authors have prepared an interesting mini-review.
My comments are as follows:
Instead of the term microflora, please use the term microbiota.
Write the Latin names of bacteria correctly.
I don't know if it is important to emphasize that they are oxidase negative because it is not the first test we use for gram positive bacteria.
What antibiotics are used to treat these opportunistic pathogens? Emphasize in the discussion.

Reviewer 2 Report
The work is very relevant and important in the practice of clinicians. Despite the supposedly small amount of data to be analyzed, the problem is and remains very relevant. Endocarditis due to this agent is rare, so a large volume of literature to review cannot be expected. There may be objections to the graphic image of the design, but with such a small number, it is not significant.
