Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article presents a unique process of connecting an RFID reader with BIM using a simple model that can be replicated in other contexts (e.g., gaining access to different parts of a construction site).

The abstract is confusing, paper contribution is scattered and not clearly written.

Introduction to long and should include clear explaination of the contribution of this paper.

At the end of the introduction section place a paragraph on the rest of the paper organization.

Explain how you categorized the RFID reader as IoT as it is not directly connected to internet.

Move code to appendix and if you want to show under text generate pseudo code for the most important and innovative part of code / function that you have developed not even the one by AI tools.

Rewrite conclusion section in a precise manner and write findings with the key numerical results.

Update the reference list with the recently published literature in the highly impact journals.

What are the main challenges between two approaches to IoT sensor measurement and BIM models, and how have you addressed these challenges in your research?

How does the integration of RFID and BIM improve material handling, theft prevention and logistics on construction sites, as discussed in the paper?

In what ways does the proposed system address the limitations of one-way communication between IoT sensors and BIM models, especially real-time two-way measurement?

Can you provide more insight into real-time access to specific parts of a building or office using the administrator interface?

How does the use of IoT sensors in conjunction with BIM help to optimize the use of resources such as water and electricity, and advance sustainable development goals?

What are the implications of integrating BIM with advanced technologies such as IoT and RFID for both high-performance and management of buildings?

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The submitted paper studied a telemetry connection between the BIM model and a Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) sensor in the context of gaining access to various parts of a building. Although the related technology and system development process are well explained, the followings should be improved.

1) The results in Chapter 3 seem to be insufficient to prove the effectiveness of the results of the developed system. Above all, it is unknown whether it operates efficiently in various situations and environments in the field. The current results show only those implemented in connection with BIM, but there is a need to include results based on actual application.

 2) Chapter 5 does not seem to be a discussion of the research results. There is a need to focus on the results of the developed system.

 3) The conclusion (Chapter 6) seems to describe general contents. It is necessary to be written based on the results developed in the study.

4) Chapter 4 (limitations and future work) should preferably be located after the conclusion.
